Valentine’s Day

Ah, the season of love! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and there are infinite ways to celebrate this special holiday in Newport Beach. Female Maker Market at Lido Marina Village

Shop local this February at Lido Marina Village’s Female Maker Market! Taking place on Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this shopping experience will kick off on the Lido Deck and will feature a variety of female artisans, along with local eats and live entertainment. This is the perfect place to shop for gifts for your galentines! Browse everything from clothing and accessories to home goods, jewelry and more.

Winter Whale Watching

From December through April, grey whales migrate in pods from the Baja California lagoons to the Bering Sea feeding grounds, making February a great month to embark on a whale-watching adventure. Local tour companies like Newport Landing and Newport Coastal Adventure offer guided cruises that will let you see these unique mammals up close. Fashion Island‘s Lunar New Year Celebration

Opening of reveal at VEA Newport Beach

New to VEA Newport Beach, reveal is an upscale lounge designed to be a premier evening and late-night destination. Opening Feb. 1, this chic, indoor-outdoor space will feature 90s and early 2000s music and offer an extensive selection of classic cocktails and elevated bar bites curated by Executive Chef Andy Arndt. This “social sanctuary” will set the scene for perfect date nights and private gatherings and is set to redefine the luxury lounge experience in Newport Beach. Guests can sip on libations like Sazeracs and Side Cars and indulge in elevated bites like American Caviar, warm pretzel bites and charcuterie.

Fourth Fridays Vintage Market on the Lido Deck

Calling all thrifters! On Friday, February 23, from 12 to 5 p.m., Lido Marina Village will host its Fourth Fridays Vintage Market, where shoppers can browse a variety of hand-picked vintage items, including apparel, jewelry, bags and more. This event is hosted by SoCal-based shop RetroBlades, and if you love all things vintage, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
