How to Watch UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Lewis Online From Anywhere

These past few months have been full of last-minute changes to cards. We’ve had Volkanovski take Oliveira’s place in the title bout against Makhachev, Jon Jones pulling out of UFC 295 due to a torn pectoral, and now Curtis Blaydes abandoning this UFC Fight Night, with Derrick Lewis taking his place.

However, Curtis leaving doesn’t mean the show is over. Almeida vs. Lewis will be just as exciting, especially with Lewis’s striking prowess. The world-class heavyweight fighters are set to meet on Saturday, but you can’t tune into the event if you’re outside the US. UFC is very strict with its broadcasters, so their events are not readily available to stream worldwide.

Luckily, you can bypass these restrictions with a VPN. We’ve watched the UFC from all kinds of countries outside the US and always found success with Surfshark. It’s a cheap VPN, it has a robust server network in the US, and it guarantees high speeds, so you don’t have to worry about buffering or lag.

What to Expect for UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs Lewis

Jailton Almeida (19-2-0) is an up-and-coming star in the heavyweight division. He’s undefeated since joining the UFC with six wins under his belt, earning him the No. 9 rank in the division. He was supposed to fight Curtis Blaydes (ranked No. 5) in this Fight Night, but that bout fell through because of unhealed injuries.

In Blaydes’s stead, Derrick Lewis (27-11-0) is set to enter the octagon. The 38-year-old has been around the block, and seen mixed results in his previous bouts — losing against fighters like Ciryl Gane and Marcos Rogerio De Lima. But he’s a former championship challenger, with 22 out of 27 wins by knockout. When you’re dealing with such a powerful striker — especially after training for a grappler — there’s no telling what can happen on Saturday.

Our prediction? Even though he’d been preparing for a grappler in Curtis Blaydes and is now facing a striker in Lewis — and a pretty good one at that — we’ve got to go with Almeida. He’s just too well-rounded of a fighter with a solid gold record in the UFC. As much as we love Lewis, he’s looked a little slow and careless in his last outings, and not sure if he has was it takes to beat a hungry rising star. At -470, the oddsmakers dont seem to disagree.

Before Almeida faces Lewis in the octagon, we’ll also see fights between Gabriel Bonfim vs. Nicolas Dalby, Rodrigo Nascimento vs. Dontale Mayes, Caio Borralho vs Abus Magomedov, and more.

The main event begins at 9:00 PM (EST), and you can watch it from anywhere with ESPN+ and a Surfshark subscription.
